Hiring the Hall

At Whitehouse Village Hall, we know how to create the perfect atmosphere for that special event in your life. No matter what your preferences or special requests might be, we can make them happen. Since opening back in 2000, we’ve hosted countless celebrations in our unique and elegant Event Hall. Get in touch to see what we can do for you.

Whitehouse Village Hall Hire Charges

Community Groups and individuals (non business)

 Main Hall (1st hour):                        £ 14.00        £ 20.00

 Each Extra Hour (max 4hrs):         £   5.00         £  7.00 


 Large Meeting room: (1st hr):       £ 11.00         £ 14.00

 Each Extra Hour: (max 4hrs)         £  4.00         £   6.00 

 Entire premises for a half day:     £ 48.00        £  70.00 

 *(4 hour block) 

 Entire premises for a day:            £ 96.00        £ 130.00              

 *(8 hour block) 

 * Half/Full day requirements to be agreed at time of booking         

Charges include use of table and chairs, access to the kitchen to store and serve prepared food; tea and coffee making facilities are available; please supply your own tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

 Business / Commercial / Public Meetings

 Main Hall:                                         £ 30.00 per hour 

 Meeting room:                                £ 25.00 per hour

 Entire premises for a day:            £ 200.00     


As Whitehouse is away from the shops, we now offer the following additional service: 


Two options are available:


  1. Coffee, various teas, juice (milk & sugar) with homemade shortbread and chocolate cake. Cost: £4.00 per head - 1 chocolate cake and 1 shortbread each.

  2. Coffee, various teas, juice (milk & sugar) with homemade shortbread. Cost £ 3.00 per head - 2 shortbread each.


All items would be delivered fresh prior to your meeting and be made available from the kitchen on a self-service basis.  All crockery would be left out for your arrival.  If you wish to order either of the above, please advise option/numbers at time of booking (Cake and biscuit options can be varied at time of order).

 Kitchen Facilities

 Additional use of equipment:     £ 35.00

 at a function (excl cooker) 

 Additional use of equipment:     £ 45.00

 at a function (incl cooker) 

Additional services for special events including setting up, cleaning can be made by arrangement.
